Quantifier

1)       Some >< Any: UC & C -->
      Some (UC: sedikit & C:beberapa or suatu); u klmt postif.
Any (UC & C) tp blm jelas jml/blh dijwb ya/tdk), u klmt negative/tanya; u apapun/ kapanpun/ apa saja)
 Example:
I have some money but I have some cars in some place in uptown.
 - Have you any money?
- I don’t have any sister in my family.
- Any of you please come any time and take anything you want.

2)       Much >< Many >< A lot of
      Much (UC tnp takaran/satuan: banyak/u klmt neg/ty, UC sll dianggap tunggal/It).
Many (C tnp takaran/satuan: banyak/ u klmt negative/tanya)
A lot of (UC & C: banyak tp hy u klmt postif saja.

example: 
   A: Does he eat much rice  
    everyday?
B: Yes. He does and eat many
    apples sometimes.

 
3)       Both >< All
            Both (jml 2 benda: u C klmt postif, negative & Tanya)
All (jml lbh dr 2 benda/semua: u C & UC pd klmt positif, negative/Tanya). 

example:
I like bird. Dzaky likes bird too. Both of us like bird.; I have five apples. All apples are sweat.

 
NB:
A great/good deal of  = much
Plenty of                    = much
A large quantity of      = much

A great number/many of  = many
A good many of              = many


Addition:
1)       Few >< a Few : C
            Few: tdk byk/sedikit /hampir tdk ada) (pernyataan negative/not many): u C jamak)
A Few: Beberapa (pernyataan postif/several): u C jamak).
 example:
      A: Do you need many pencils to draw?
B: No I don’t. I need only few pencils.
X: What will you do there?
Y: I will buy a few cars.

5) Little >< a Little: UC
 Little: tdk byk/sedikit sekali (hampir tdk ada) (pernyataan negative/not much): u UC tunggal) .
   A Little : sedikit (pernyataan positif); u UC tunggal). example:

A: Why is the land very dry?
B: Because there is only little rain here.
       X: What is John drinking?
       Y: He is drinking a little soda.
